EME Garnacha is an esteemed red wine originating from the renowned Rioja Denominación de Origen Calificada (D.O.Ca).

The name “EME” embodies the essence of femininity, symbolising both “Mujer” (woman in Spanish) and “Madre” (mother in Spanish), reflecting the nurturing spirit that defines this exceptional wine.

Crafted exclusively from 100% Garnacha grapes sourced from the historic Finca of “Las Terrazas,” planted in 2009, this single-varietal wine epitomizes excellence.

EME Garnacha is part of a meticulous recovery project aimed at preserving the original Garnacha grape variety. Here, Casado Morales has meticulously revived old original clones planted by their grandfather. These grapes, characterized by their small size and silky texture, along with longer maturation cycles, contribute complexity to the wine.

Garnacha grapes are carefully selected in the vineyard to ensure only the finest specimens reach the winery. Harvested manually at the end of October under optimal ripening conditions, a double collection process separates the highest quality bunches, ensuring exceptional standards are met.

Aged in French oak barrels for 11 months (50% en barrica doble), followed by an additional 8 months in the bottle with continuous checks, EME Garnacha achieves remarkable depth and complexity.

In the glass, it presents a radiant ruby color with a low layer, characteristic of Garnacha from Rioja Alavesa. Intense aromas of tobacco leaf and toasted hazelnut mingle with notes of roses and sweet cherry on a background of vanilla.

On the palate, EME Garnacha offers a silky texture dominated by wild strawberry flavors. The warm, lingering aftertaste is marked by sweet fruit notes.

EME Garnacha pairs exquisitely with a variety of Spanish delicacies such as chorizo and Iberian ham. It also complements grilled meats and game dishes beautifully.
